A new freestanding emergency room is proposed at 511 Friendship Lane, with site plan and entry corridor applications before the commission. It would add emergency medical capacity to the corridor.

Three property owners on the 600 block of North Milam wanted neighborhood commercial zoning, arguing it matches the comprehensive plan's mixed-use corridor designation and recent nearby approvals.
